As our faculty cooperates with many corporations that are leaders on the domestic market, students are offered to gain work experience simultaneously with their studies. They can even enrol into BSc. engineering programme delivered in the English language.

The focus of scientific and research activities are manufacturing technologies and their impact on the change of mechanical and physical properties of powder materials, recycling of plastics which is targeted at production of composites, e.g. plastic timber.

The Faculty of Mechanical engineering in Bratislava was the first mechanical engineering institution in Slovakia. Throughout its existence it has gained an important position among technical faculties in Slovakia as well as abroad.
